Every iOS app update should support the iPhone X notch by July

Apple declares that iOS developers cannot update their apps while not keeping the iPhone X in mind.

Starting in July, iOS developers will not be ready to update their apps unless they play nicely with the iPhone X's notch.

Apple on weekday issued the subsequent statement on its developer page:

"Starting July 2018, all iOS app updates submitted to the App Store should be engineered with the iOS eleven SDK and should support the Super membrane show of iPhone X."

This is excellent news for iPhone X house owners, UN agency can currently have a lot of apps that support their phone's notched show. It conjointly sets up support for future notched iPhones, that Apple is reported to be engaged on.

Apple antecedently issued an equivalent demand for all new apps being submitted to the App Store, however this new statement needs that app updates should obey too.

As a result, app developers should guarantee their apps support the notch before cathartic updates. If apps do not meet this criteria, they'll ne'er get updated.
